Orange Shirt Day Update

Last update on Sept. 8, 2016.

Orange Shirt Day was a great success! Kristin and I raised $365 for www.ReconciliationCanada.ca! Yippe! I'm in such good spirits that I'm going to pitch in the extra cash to make it an even $400.

It feels really amazing to be able to raise that kind of money and awareness for a cause I believe in. Thank you so much to everyone that purchased a shirt and is raising an awareness about Orange Shirt Day. Thank you to Phyllis Webstad for sharing her story and creating Orange Shirt Day.

Idle No More - October 7th

Last update on Oct. 9, 2013.

Yesterday was The 250-year Anniversary of the Royal Proclamation of 1763; a perfect time for Idle No More to continue to shed light on former and present day issues. With Phyllis' blessing, we purchased, screened and will sell these story-telling shirts this year... and $5 from every shirt will be donated to www.ReconciliationCanada.ca to continue the work they do to support IRS survivors and their ...

This past Thursday and Friday I had a table at the event Artist in the Atrium. It is a fantastic event that has live music and aboriginal dancers and tables for aboriginal artist to sell their art. Artists in the Atrium runs Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Thursday (August 1), and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for September and October, at the Woodward’s Atrium.

This event has been such a blessing for me, it has been a great opportunity for me to present my ...

Screen Printing T-Shirts

Last update on Aug. 18, 2013.

I have always loved learning how things are made and screen printing is one of those things I've been wanting to learn for a while now. I did my research on youtube and some library books and jumped in. Now I'm hooked on screen printing. I love the idea of putting messages on tees and walking around with a great message. Think about how many ads people see in one day and how much of it is garbage, now think about wearing a message as an ad that does some real good. That's how I ...
